Wehave the pleasure this week of hosting Rachel Keren, director of Midreshet HaBanot at Kibbutz Ein HaNatziv, who is here interviewing applicants for next year. Tamar spent a year at the Midrasha and it exceeded all of our expectations. It is a program for Israeli women, but they take a handful of overseas students. Tamar’s progress in Hebrew, her growth in expanding her horizons, and her appreciation of the beauty of Israel’s north, were all important ancillary benefits that enhanced her year of learning Torah in Eretz Yisrael, and for that we will always be grateful to Rachel and the Midrasha.
