Idan Raichel Project concert

The girls and I took Sue to the Idan Raichel concert on Monday night (birthday present from my parents - Thanks Ima and Abba!). It was at a great little theater at the Jewish Heritage / Holocaust museum in Battery Park - very nice venue - as part of Daniel Pearl Music Days. The concert was fabulous! Idan is a great musician, and his percussionist (Itamar Douadi?) was spectacular, I just couldn’t take my eyes off of him. Rounded out by 3 female vocalists (originating from Sudan, Rwanda, and Colombia) and a guest appearance by Avishai Cohen on the trombone trumpet (he’s a regular with Chick Corea), it was a terrific evening.
Dov,
The Avishai Cohen I know plays Trumpet, not Trombone. The other Avishai Cohen I know plays Bass.
Best Regards,
Jordan Hirsch
Thanks Jordan, of course you are right.
