We held our monthly Business Networking Breakfast this morning, co-sponsored by UBS and the Todd Feldman Group and held at their conference center. Today’s official count was 48. It went very smoothly, as just about everyone kept their introductions brief and there was plenty of time to mingle and meet afterwards. Thanks to Avi and David’s (the new, upscale, kosher bagel shop on Third Ave.) for providing the food.

This was the first time that we decided to charge a nominal $10 fee for entry, and not only did attendance not suffer (48 people came, our most ever) but many attendees told us that it was a good decision, presumably as it raises the bar for entry just a bit.

These events are held monthly and are open to all business people interested in networking. Usually they are on the third Thursday of the month, but in December we are moving it up to the second Thursday (Dec 13) because of the holidays.
